Good evening! How are you on this Friday night? It's all about work with my Friday, so I'll be brief tonight. I have another beauty from China Glaze The Hunger Games Capital Colors and this one is one of those that you just have to see IRL to appreciate the beauty of it. It's easily one of my favourite polishes made by China Glaze, it is a fantastic colour. And yet, it looks somewhat boring on the pictures. Pity. Trust me, it looks stunning on the nails in real life. I give you Smoke and ashes.
Like I said, pictures don't do Smoke and Ashes justice. It's a black base with greenish glass flecks that are very visible in real life. It actually does give an ashy impression, or maybe it's just my brain, trying to fit the name to the colour. The formula is amazing too, it could almost be a one coater, perhaps it is if you're a bit careful with the application. Not a bad thing about this one. I absolutely love it.
Where do you stand with black polish and black polish with something extra? :)

I love black polishes with something extra :) Your nails are so pretty :)) funny, everytime I open my blogger reading list and my eyes catch something green, my first thought is Ulmiel ;))) I wish to see this polish in real life because a black polish with greenish glass flecks sounds amazing, but I can't really see it on photos... I hate it when cameras make up their own minds about colors... :/

DeleteI love black polishes! I have a handful of blacks with flecks or shimmer in them as well as my basic blacks. I have this beauty as well :) I have to say the stone cold matte black from this collection is nice, too.

DeleteI just put this on my toes! I hadn't worn it since I got it months ago and thought it needed some love. I like black from tine to time because it's simple and clean and goes with everything.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I like it for the same reason too. Plus I have a thing for black nail polish, I find it also to be one of the sexy colours that get like that with a very little effort.
DeleteI tried it some days ago. I must be honest saying I bought it 'cause I saw tons of swatches of it being a black base with greyish flakes (ashes are grey., aren't they? XD). When it came into my hands I saw it sparkled green/yellow and somehow blueish/purple and I was upset, since I' m not at all into green stuff. I decided to try it though. It's astonishing. It was luckily a sunny day and I spent an hour and a half in the sun photographing it. It's gorgeous <3. Purple sparkles are very difficult to catch, but green yellow and blue shines are clearly visible in certain angles <3. I recomment it, it's a very breathtaking baby!!

Mislim, da me je ujela tvoja obsesija in padam na (temne) zelene. :$ Ravnokar pišem oceno za oceno za enega takega. In dozdeva se mi, da ne bo zadnja.
Oh, kavica pa z največjim veseljem. :) Mislim, da bi ti bil všeč lak, temen z dodatkom. In ja, s temno zelenimi se prične. ;) Komaj čakam, da vidim katera te je omrežila. :D
DeleteNisem fan črne barve na nohtih in jo redko nosim (razen pri kakem nail artu). Ta lak me na fotografijah ni prepričal, ampak če praviš, da je v živo zelo lep, bi si ga prav rada ogledala v živo in se prepričala, če me bo navdušil.
ReplyDeleteJa, že Scrangie je rekla,d a ga je treba videti v živo, da res ugotoviš, ali je zate ali ne. Žal se lahko samo strinjam z njo. Če imaš kje priložnost, si ga le oglej. :)
DeleteDieser Lack ist so wunderschön! Ich habe ihn auch. Aber noch nicht sehr lange und habe ihn deswegen auch noch nicht getragen. Aber im Winter werde ich ihn bestimmt mehrmals lackieren. Wirklich schön!

ReplyDeleteZnam, malo me i nervirajo ove slike, nisu ni za što, ali to je najbolje šta sam mogla napraviti. Ako imaš šanse, pogledaj ga u živo, zeleni glass-flack stvarno izgleda super.
