My (not so very) secret wishlist/plan for 2013

So yeah, I did this plan last year, and apparently it helped, because I've gotten most stuff on it! Brushes were an amazing gift from my dear Parokeets (I use all of them regularly, half of them every day, and they are amazing! I'm talking about BH Cosmetics Deluxe set of 10 brushes, in Slovenia you can get them at licila.si), Burberry The Beat was a lovely surprise gift from my boyfriend, I've bought all Beauty UK eyeliners I planned (and later on added one more on the WL, waiting for my next order), and I bought/got so many eyeshadows in this year, I don't need the 120 palette anymore. :) So only two things are left on the WL, and they are still there because they are either pricey or hard for me to get.

quarryvillelibrary.org

This year some stuff remained on the WL, due to the fact I've become obsessed a bit with it, some have changed. If the result in the end of the 2013 will be as good as this year, it will be very cool.

Oh yes. This year my newly awakened obsession most certainly are perfumes. I love perfumes, always had, but this year a very good friend of mine introduced me to the 'craft' again and I started discovering them all over again, this time also from the perspective of notes and durability (and not just on 'I like it' - 'I do not like it' scale). What you see on the photo is my top 5. In no particular order, these are perfumes I liked most in the past few months, so I dare say I will like them in the future as well. They are amazing. Naturally, I do not expect to buy them all, but at least one of them would be really awesome. :) I can already see, if they weren't so expensive, I'd already have 20 of them. Horrible. :)

themakeupmanual.files.wordpress.com

Aaand I'm not done with brushes either. Although I'm really happy that my collection of brushes has grown to a respectful size (for me at least), I am in need of a good blending brush. That's my biggest target for next year. And we all know which one is the most well known and praised. MAC 217! The price is ridiculous, but if half of that gals are saying about it is true, I think it is well invested money. I see on ličila that BH has a blending brush as well, but is out of stock ATM. Perhaps I shall start with that one, I'm very happy with my BH brushes. Oh, in this department I also plan to buy more eyeshadow brushes, since I have a million colour combinations and sometimes not enough time to wash the brushes. Any recommendations?

Another new discovery in make up department are certainly blushes or blushers or however you wanna call them. This is thanks to a wonderful blogger and make up enthusiast that owns mejkap.si, a really awesome girl that goes by the nickname Krvava Meri (Bloody Mary). Before her post on blushes I've always deemed them a bit unnecessary, being fairly quickly red in the face (and no, I do not see anything nice, classy or cute about it), but since I started using it, I realise just what a difference it is, having the right blush on your make up look. So I'm planning to buy more of them, definitively, first in line: La Femme!

planet-lepote.com
Moroccanoil Treatment Serum for hair. I really want this, I've read a very good review on it and I really want to pamper my hair with it. They get dry fast and I always grab them with my purse or jacket, making them snap, so they deserve something extra.

agd-rtv.net
My depilator is about 10 years old. It has to go, ladies. I need the new, super cool and non-painful hair-eater, that I can use without cursing like a sailor. Definitively a must purchase next year. Again, if you have any suggestions on really good ones, let me know.

ehowcdn.com
I really want the little hand/fitness or whatever weights. At one point I used plastic bottles of water at home, but they are so clumsy. I like to exercise at home, it makes me feel great, but a lot of exercises I want to do include the little weights, so I gotta buy them.

*

To end in my style. Eyeshadow, naturally. The three brands on the picture are Sugarpill, Concrete minerals and Lime Crime. They all have a thing in common: they all produce extremely bright, extremely pigmented matte eyeshadow. And boy oh boy, I want them. The bright red, the bright yellow, orange, green, blue ... and all mattes. My holy grails of eyeshadow department. Sure, I want the sparkly one as well, but matte bright eyeshadow is my lemming for quite a while now. And from what I see and read on blogsphere, these three brands are perfect for killing my lemming. I put Lime Crime Chinadoll in the picture because that is the specific craving from the brand. *pictures taken from beautylish.com, limecrimemakeup.com and shadespromakeup.blogspot.com

So yeah. Loads of make up, again. Again loads of eyeshadow. There would be a lot of lip products as well, but I'm working on that area already in this year, so it doesn't count. ;)

It's a long wish list. I like a lot of stuff. Of course the most important things in life are not things, so the top of my WL definitively takes the spititual area. Love, health, peace of mind, happiness. But we all know that, and we all wish the same, when it comes to the very basis, don't we? I wish that for you as well!

Thank you for reading!

My (not so very) secret wishlist/plan for 2012

I just saw this post at Scrangie's and was amused, as I'm planning to do something similar for weeks now. Great minds think alike, haha! Mine isn't planned as the holiday beauty wishlist but rather as wishlist of things I'm wanting for quite a while now but I don't get around to buying them, either for the lack of money of time or ways to buy them. But I want to make them my little projects for the next year. At least those that I can get fairly easily.
Naturally this is the beauty wishlist only. I think it's logical my biggest wishes for next year aren't material. But here are the little material things (in no particular order) that make also my spiritual part happy. ;)

source: harpersbazaar.co.uk

A good set of brushes. Not the prepared set, but my set of brushes, with good quality and all. Brushes are the only thing in make up department I am actually justified of buying. You know, I really need them, right now I'm operating with three or four brushes and it's really not pleasant. So a good set of brushes - a couple for eye make up (the whole deal, eyeliner, smokey eyes, blending, eyeshadow etc.), a couple for lip stuff etc. etc. I'm planing to make a list, suggested by other bloggers, especially my eye make up guru Maestra and then slowly buy what's on the list. Right now I'm itching to try the famous eyeshadow MAC brush aaaand ... that's the start of my list, I guess. :S

source: beauty-locator.de
Burberry The Beat perfume. I'm completely in love with this perfume. It's fantastic. I'm a huge fan of parfumes and I'm really not happy when I don't have it, I always feel something is missing. So now this is probably my next purchase, I found an awesome on line store here, where they sell originals for almost half a price of drugstores!

A wishlist in a wishlist for BB Natura store. There are three Derma E products I'm dying to have (especially Vitamin A pore refining gel), three Badger products (especially hand creme), and a couple of Akamuti products (especially the green tea tonic). I can find all of that at BB Natura, I have fantastic experiences with them and therefore love to shop there.

source: nihrida.com
Beauty UK Metallic Eye Spark and Pearl eyeliners. I blame the totally fantastic Nihrida for those. I bought three Pearl eyeliners because of her phenomenal review and frankly, I want more. She's a WL maker, oh yes, but the product really act like she says they do and that's beyond awesome, it really makes me trust her with the products she's showing. So I need Beauty UK Pearl Purple Haze, and Metallic Eye Spark in Green, Bronze and Purple.Want those, especially since they're really cheap and again, coming from an online store I had fantastic experience with.

source: 1.bp.blogspot.com
Concrete Minerals Eyeshadow. Oh man. Their eye shadows look SO fantastic and crazy!! Won't even go into how many of them I want. Top two sets are the Flame Collection and The Envy Me collection, let's stop at that. They will be hard to get for me, but not impossible!

source:amazon.com
BH Cosmetics 120 colour palette 2nd edition. I blame Maestra for this one. ;)

Let's stop at this point. ;) Basically these are the stuff that I really want to get. You can also see which stores I love and check their offer often by this wishlist too. Well, I have an entire year for these babies, let's hope I manage to get at least half of it. ;)

What's on your secret wishlist (or rather plan) for 2012? :)

Thank you for reading, have pleasant holidays! *muah*

L. A. Girl Color Addict Idol and Intoxicate

Hey guys. How are you doing? Thank you all for your cute comments on my previous post, I am quite surprised you loved it so much, hehe. :) Yesterday was a perfect autumn day here in Ljubljana. It was a cold morning but it warmed up during the day so you could dress enough not to be cold (that also means boots wearing time for me which is a major win!) all the time (like I am in winter), it rained a few drops, so the air was full od smell of the rain, the leaves have finally started to fall down and the day had this bright grey feeling, not the dead smog full winter grey, but the good cloudy day that I love so much. Plus the hot chestnuts are smelling divine all over the city ...
... and today we have rain mixed with bloody snow in freaking October. I'm cold in my house, wearing two sweaters and the beautiful autumn grey has turned into the heavy depressing grey of winter.
In short, I'm not particularly happy today.

How about I show you two cool colours then? Tevta surprised me with these two. We both fell in love with them back at Biba's Beauty Corner when she showed us her beautiful swatches and I was really happy to get them (thanks, dear!). L.A. Girl, Color Addict line, Idol and Intoxicate, I have yet to wear Disorder, and I suspect it might be my favourite of the three.

Color Addict Idol, two coats. I had problems with the application, the brush was really stiff, so I had trouble covering the edges of the nails and the base nail curve isn't so nice as I'd like it to be. Quite odd, since I don't remember ever reading about bad application on these. Still, utterly gorgeous colour, I love it! I wish the gold shimmer would be even more noticable, but even as it is it's gorgeous.

Color Addict Intoxicate, again two coats again bad brush, I had the same problem with it. When I tried Idol I thought that maybe I got a bad bottle, but two in a row? I don't know ... Maybe two bad bottles, hehe. Well, this one is *perfect*. The gold shimmer is very nicely visible and it gives the polish the "glow inside" effect, I love it! This one reminded me of Catherine The Grape darker sister. It has the same feeling of awesomness to me. :)

L.A. Girl USA has a few colour lines, that I'm sure you're all very familiar with. Color Addict line has altogether 16 shades, as do all the lines. After browsing through a couple of blogs I dare say they all have the gold shimmer, but the visibility of it varies quite a bit.

My problem though is, that I want quite a few from their other lines. I want 6 out of 16 of the Glitter Addict line, 6 out of 16 Metal line, from Matte line Alpine Green is sitting on my WL since forever. The one I want the most colours from is Rockstar. I love some bottles for the names themselves, but also the colours are beyond awesome! I already have two (yay!), I seriously need Addict, Groupie, Head Banging (seriously now, I'd want this even if it was pink because of the name, but it's also this amazing teal, yes!), Punk and I wouldn't say no to Party Animal either. Seven out of 16, lol. Ok, I don't think you find this paragraph praticularly interesting, but I'm realizing now I need to refresh my L.A. Girl WL! They have a couple of lines more (Disco, Crackle, Scented polish, Nude etc.), but I don't find those particularly interesting.

All in all I love the two shades, I really do, I'm just surprised with the brush. Even the formula itself was good, it's just the brush that ruins the application. Funny, since the Rockstar line doesn't give me troubles one bit. Oh well. The colours are well worth it.

What are your thoughts on L.A. Girl polish? What's your favourite colour and line?

Thank you for reading!

Illamasqua week - Rampage

Hey darlings! First a letter to Illamasqua, to unite all my thoughts of this week.

Illamasqua, my beloveth,

I have already convinced myself I don't need you in my life, that I don't need your polish, nor Hermetic or Besotted gloss, Liquid Metal Resolute or Precision Ink Abyss to finally achieve my perfect gothic look I'm dying to have. And now ... *sighs heavily* All my attempts to ignore your perfection have failed AND I WANT THEM ALL. I have no idea what was I thinking making an Illamasqua week. I knew I'd crave the polish even more than I already do. Why, why are you so perfect and at the same time so damn expensive? I mean, I'd love you for your package alone, but no, you have to be just superb in quality too, so why do I consider starving to get my Holy Trinity of your nail varnish? I do wonder if that makes me a tad bit extreme. Or dramatic. Or just plain crazy.
All i know is that I will get you one day or heads will roll.

All my love,
Ulmiel

***

On more serious note, darlings, don't think I'm insane. This was my poor attempt to entertain you and also tell you of all different kinds of Illamasqua product I'm craving. I'm also sucker for a good eye look and I'm still searching for a perfect lip product - I suspect I'll get both in Illamasqua. Illamasqua has this alter ego look that I totally adore, and their package really could sell me just about everything, let alone their perfection. And well, I love a lil bit of drama every once in a while. ;)

I saw Lendoxias comment that she's been reading me on bloglovin for a while now so I have no idea who put the blog there, but yeah, people, however you find reading my blog easier! I feel rather silly for not knowing bloglovin' even existed ... oh well!

To the nail varnish, what say you? It's the last one in Illamasqua week, it's my love, the pure and utter perfection in a bottle, still remaining one of my biggest lemmings, being alive or dead: Rampage. This lemming was killed for my bday by, of course, my dear Tevta. I was so in shock when she gave me the bottle, I'm not sure I even thanked her. How stupid can I get?
Ok, I'll stop talking, picture time!

 Soft light. Still green!

I noticed on a blog that the blogger wasn't sure why the cap is not lined with the bottle after a few usage. That's why. It's removable. I'm pointing this out just because I didn't notice it is for months. :)

My sweetheart. I love this polish. I've already made quite a dent in my bottle, I'm using it with such a speed I'll empty 15 ml bottle in about 5 years. Which is very fast if you're a nail polish freak, I'd say. Pictures are 3 coats. I've worn it with two coats only too, so it's possible, but with the third one you get the depth in the green that makes me go ghnnngngh. So freakishly beautiful. ALU also says Rampage is a three coater, and I sooooooooo don't give a damn it is. Just applying it makes me happy. Do i even need to tell you application is a perfection? Rampage is sex in a bottle, really. Maybe I should say that line for Phallic? Lol.

When I first saw dark forest green colours that remain green, exist, it became my holy grail of entire nail polish world. Imagine now your biggest craving you have in nail polish. Really the biggest, the one you actually consider buying of ebay for insane amount of money, even if it makes you eat only bread and water for a couple of days in that month and you will still be happy. Do you see that polish and feel the lemming? That is how much I craved to have this shade. Either in shape of Recycle by RBL or Illamasqua's Rampage. Those two are my utter perfection green colours, Rampage being a bit more perfect as it dries jelly, not creme. You may find it surprising, as I'm a total green polish fanatic, but I never craved Nars Zulu. I have very limited understanding for these overpriced polishes, I honestly think only Clarins 230 is worth the hype. Zulu is so dark it's almost black, and I can tell you about 5 more greens like that that are by far more available and cheap. So yeah. Illamasqua Rampage. Tevta, if i actually did forget to thank you, being in total shock, now you probably understand what this gift meant to me. :)

Rampage is one of my Holy Trinity of Illamasqua. The other two are Hectic and Phallic. I'll get them some day, really. If I only got the three of Illamasqua, I'd be happy. I mean, I'd want more colours, but I'd be happier than with any other three. These are the ones I'd pay 13,5 pounds per bottle and smile while paying. Saying that I also must tell you right now my Illamasqua WL contains 9 bottles. Ouch? Ouch! But they are beautiful!

I hope you had as much fun as I did with Illamasqua week! Here's the group picture of them showin their colours.

Rrrrr! ;)

Please tell me your critiques of the Illamasqua week. I'll be really glad to read them!

Have an awesome Saturday!
Thank you for reading! :*

Taking care of my 10 little divas

Hello everybody! How are you doing? It's a beautiful day, darlings! Classes were interesting, I had a lovely coffee before them with lovely people, sun is shining as I speak, I went everywhere on foot just to enjoy the pretty, warmer weather. And I'm really excited about my GA ending tomorrow at midnight! It's been an interesting journey. :) BTW, people, please use the form! I don't acctept comment entries, I've warned about that and I still got new one today. Will add the warning, again, to the GA entry. But anyway! This post is long overdue. Taya asked me a month ago if I can show you how I'm taking care of my nails, and now I'm finally typing this away. So sorry it took that long, Taya, hope you don't mind!
It's also the last one I owe you for now. Again, if you have any wishes for comparisons, specific colours or anything nail (polish) related you'd like me to write about, let me know!

To the topic. It's going to be a longer entry, but I'll try to explain everything in it, I'll also share my nail care WL with you (yes I have that one too). There are some steel facts about my nails you need to know. 1. They are divas.  2. There are strict rules for taking care of them, and I can't change that too much or they'll start to layer and break. I actually had to refuse a review of a really awesome gadget because I was worried about chaning file for filing down my nails. The last time I did it, I had to cut down my nails completely, layered as they were. 3. I have a slight cuticle/hand skin OCD, I cannot have them dry. Serisouly, I get nervous, I can't think about anything if I feel like my hands are made of paper bag because of the dry skin. Thus, I admit, I may get a bit extreme about hand cream and cuticle care.

I'll show you the things I pay attention to throughout the year, but especially in cold winter times. I have no idea what the order of things should be, but let's start with my best secret for perfect cuticle and nails.

  • Hand Creme And Cuticle Butter

Lord Of The Rings, how much I adore Badger Cuticle Care!!! This baby is my number one product for nails and I worship it for what it has done to my nails. Not to mention the cutest packaging ever! Look how the little badger is showing its claws. Together everybody: awww! Seriously people, this baby does everything it's promising to do for the nails. Cuticles are fed, not dry, they get dry slower, the nails are growing almost too fast, they are super strong (seriously, they don't layer or break, unless you really hit the wall with them. What I usually do when I break a nail), and just ... you know, healthy, happy, spoiled nails and cuticles.
I use it just about every day, in average 6 days a week, usually when I go to sleep. The amount you use is really small, since it's really butter-like and you massage it into your fingertips. That's it. I purchased also cotton gloves not to wipe it off my nails, but more about that later on. Smells of lemon, it's also yellow. Badger also has USDA organic certificate, so major plus, people! I adore Badger, really, I'd love to try the body butters and other stuff as well, but usually never manage to keep money on me for that long to buy it. I buy my Badger goodness in BB Natura shop, they have a stand in Supernova in Ljubljana, it costs 7€. Since I am around the middle of the contents with every day usage after whole 4 months (!!) I'd say it's a fair price. You get magic with it, people!!
Second thing I'm always - and I mean always - having with me is hand creme. The one on the picture is actually my 4th or 5th favourite. The best cremes for me are Balea Urea Handcreme (urea on second place of ingredients!), Balea Olive Oil Handcreme and also Afrodita Aroma. These are also very cheap. I tried a wide range of hand cremes, very expensive and very cheap, and I'll tell you, the price does not always bring quality. Balea is laughably cheap and I adore it. Fact also is I use one 100 ml hand creme per month, so I couldn't really afford extra expensive ones. My advice is: use hand creme as often as you can. For me it has become essential like a tooth brush. I use it almost every time I wash my hands, which is quite often. Make a habit out of it.
The SOS product for cuticles, when I'm at my BF's and I don't carry around my Badger, is the best lip balm I've ever tried. Ziaja Orange Butter Lip Balm. I love Ziaja's products, they have the best body scrub, shower gels and so on, but this is the winner in my opinion. Not only for lips, but also for your cuticles. Awesome! And I hate it sooo much I can't find it anywhere in Slovenia anymore. :(
-------------------------------
WL: I'm perfectly happy with Badger Cuticle Care, I'd be happy to use it for the rest of my life. However, I'm always happy to try new things (you can be sure I'll have Badger lying around too, JIC) and frankly, I'd like to try LUSH Lemony Flutter just because people say it's so damn good and I want to see if it will beat Badger.
As for hand creme, again, I'd love to try something made by Badger, also the LUSH one, Lalica told us it's really good.

  • Nail polish remover

I had the worst experiences with nail polish removers possible. One dried out my nails so badly, I had to start taking biotin pills for them to recover. It was horrible. I know lots of you are perfectly fine with low price, Essence/Ebelin/etc. removers but they cause chaos for me. Thus I stopped even trying and am strictly using Afrodita Oliva and Aroma nail polish removers. Both of them on the picture are perfect! You can se the ingredients too, they're pretty decent, I'd say. And they don't dry up my nails, which is essential. As I empty around one bottle (maybe more) per month, with 2.20-2.70€ per bottle they aren't really the cheapest out there, but they are excellent. If you're having major problems with your nails, perhaps you should try and change your nail polish remover. People think it doesn't do damage, trust me, it does!
-------------------------------------------
WL: Zoya nail polish remover. Because I've heard it's perfect.

  • Shaping the divas
Crystal file was a complete revelation for me. Before that my nails layered as i filed them down, so the dust actually went between the layers of the nails. It was horrible, people! Remember the mentioned refused review? That's the reason why. I can only file my nails with crystal file if I want to avoid layering. Essie file is really great, I love it! On the picture also the wooden stick for cuticles, although I rarely need it (please don't push your cuticles off the nail with the iron one, it hurts me and I'm only writing about it. It's way to agressive) and a buffer cube. Now, people, I don't buff unless I really need too, I don't want to weaken my nails. I have it just in case if I need to buff down really bad stain or some kind of irregularity on the nails. Otherwise I'm against buffing, I fear I'd ruin my nails with it.
-----------------------------------------
WL: Little travelling version of the Essie file, to have with me all the time.

  • Gloves
I use three pairs of gloves. The white cotton one are for night treatment with cuticle care balm. If you want to use cuticle oils regularly, I really recommend them, because then you won't have the excuse for not using it like: i don't want to get oil all over my keyboard, books, dress, sheets, etc. They also make sure the oil stays on the nail and cuticles not just about everywhere else. With cotton gloves you can type, read, just about everything while you're pampering your nails. :)
The black one are obviously for the cold outside. I see lots of people going out without gloves, for me that's a killer of nice cuticles. If I don't have gloves my cuticles dry up completely, it's awful. Especially if I have to carry something and don't have my hands in my pockets. Obviously these are important for winter and it's cold, I don't walk around with gloves in Summer. :)
The latex one are for cleaning house. No matter what it says on your dish cleaner, people, it's aggressive and you should be wearing gloves while doing the dishes. We have a dish washer, so most of the time I don't need gloves (I don't put them on to put the dishes into the washer), but when I'm cleaning like bathroom or using any kind of really aggressive cleaners, I use the gloves. I have latex one, because those we had at home, otherwise you have much better ones for cleaning out there.

  •  Base Coat??
This is where my care of my nails fails. Good base coat. I thought before I don't need one, but the more I use nail polish, the more I see I need one for certain colours. Because my nails are really badly stained. Not that it's a problem most of the time, but I'd still like to try and invest into a good base coat, especially after I realized it can sometimes mess up the colour accuracy with swatching (remember depend and night sparkle fiasco?). The only one I've got is this Essie Fill the gap! mini bottle. :/
--------------------------------------
WL: I don't know. You tell me! I have my eyes on Zoya base coat. Dunno why, but I like Zoya, and I'm guessing it must be good. :)

I think that's just about it. My secrets revealed! ;) Well, not much of secrets, anyway, I'm sure most of you know and do all of this already. :)

Tell me your opinions on my treatment, please. And if you know a good base coat, I'd be glad to hear your suggestions and tips!

Thank you for reading! :*

Project Latvia: 42

Hello again! I'm taking a break to write this down, because I just have to tell you the story and share my excitement! Tevta told me about this weeks if not months ago and I couldn't wait for us to finally get the package! Finally about a week ago she told me to get her my WL, and I knew Project Latvia was on the move. :D The thing is, she met this awesome girl that was more than glad to start swaping, and when she told us she has the chance to clear our WLs a bit on this event they had, we just couldn't miss the opportunity!

So the package arrived today, and we had to open it together. Like early Christmas AND birthday, I'm telling you! 2,8 kg of nail-polish, baby! We didn't know which from our WL are in  the package, because Linda wanted to surprise us, she's really a sweetheart. :)

Me, as I started ceremoniously to open the package.

The hole, that got Tevta totally worried that someone might took some bottles out. I put the package on our kitchen scale, just to make sure, luckily there were no nail-polish freaks at post office this time! But the poor box really looked like someone was beating a person with it, seriously.

The bubble-wraped envelope and the goodies inside!!

 Let it rain nail-polish!!!

My cup of black tea with milk, and me cutting the bubble-wrap off the first polish. It was ... it was ...

... O.P.I. DS glamour!!! Aaaaaaaaaaa!! I nearly fainted! Mine, all mine!!

And so the most fun little game ever started! Opening bubble wraps, finding out which nail-polish is hiding in the wrap, putting it in line with it's brothers. :D It was *tons* of fun!

 Group picture in the end.

Then we sorted them by brands (click on the pic to enlarge it). As you can see, there are 9 O.P.I., 3 China Glaze, 4 Nubar, 5 Zoya, 12 (!!) Sparitual, 5 Kinetics, 2 Jessica, 1 Maybelline and 1 Nfu-Oh. I have close-up, but there are already so many pictures, I'm sure you don't need them. :)
Oh-my-god!!! SO MUCH NAIL-POLISH!! SO MUCH *AWESOME* NAIL-POLISH!!!

I cannot tell you how awesome is this! 42 nail-polish bottles! The number itself is more than totally awesome, since both me and Tevta are total Douglas Adams fans and you know, there are no coincidences. ;) I got a few hardcore lemmings from my WL, like Wagon trail and, oh, yeah, did I mention it? THREE O.P.I. DSs!!

Tevta was acutally so kind, she gave me just about the entire package to try out first, although most of it is hers, so I have lots and lots of new toys to play with! But I'm *so* happy that I can empty my WL a bit! So so happy, and thankful to überkind Linda and of course my dear Tevta, that always thinks of my little obsession. :D

And now, ladies (and gentlemen :)), I need your help. I cannot decide, which to try out first, and since I have you, my dear readers, you can choose, which one you want to see first, and thus helping me loads with the decision. I painfully reduced the package to 10 nail-polishes, and now I'm asking for your votes. :) You see the poll on the right side of the blog, and here are the pictures of the ten. I tried really hard to capture their bottle colours, sadly I didn't do very well, but I'm sure you already know most of them at least by looks.

From L to R (please click on the pic to enlarge it): Zoya Veruschka, Nubar Teal Glitter, Nubar Indigo Illusion, OPI Midnight Blue Glitter, OPI Glacier Bay Blues, OPI DS extravagance, OPI DS tapestery, OPI DS glamour, Sparitual Regal and Sparitual Days Of Wine And Roses.
On this one you can see a bit of the colour play in Glacier Bay Blues, its an amazing colour, it's like beatle wings, tons of colours in the finish, insane colour. And Midnight Blue Glitter is not "just" silver, it has a bazillion blue glitter, that I just couldn't capture. No picture on this planet can do Indigo Illusion justice though, you'll have to take my word for it, that it's a couple of nail-polishes hidden in one.

From the second angle, if it helps.

So, as you can see, it's been an insanely good Saturday and I'm glad the project ended up in such a nice result. I'll be glad if you'll help me with the poll and choosing the nail-polish, and I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did writing it. :)

Thanks for reading!

The Wish List

Oh Lord of the Rings, why have I even started writing a wish list? And then I'm silly enough to put it in Excel to count them. With my numbers, that's just w-r-o-n-g! The thing is, I have a habit of writing the name of the polish that looks good on this list that I've started making first time I klicked on Scrangie's blog. I do suspect you're already seeing the numbers. Scrangie has ... well, alot of nail-polish there. ;) And then the list just started to get longer and longer and longer ... and longer and it's still not nearly finished. We get new collections by far too often for WL to be done.

On my WL is a lot of nail-polish that I've already wore. That's why I know I really want them! ;) My nail polish guru (note to myself: write a blog about n-p gurus!) started lending me hers, to see which polishes will "be me" and which won't. It's a wonderful system, since some polish can really be a big no-no on your nails and some you wouldn't even think of buying but when you put it on your nails the WOW! effect is right there! So yeah, she's super cool. :)
The other thing that bugs me is also that I've ordered some n-p and am trying to empty WL, do I put them on or not? Well, I did, since I don't have them yet. :)

But the reason why I don't like making top *number* of 'must have nail polish' is, that I usually have a phase with a brand or colour, and so my top *number* changes quite often. Right now I have a total obsession with green and with brands Color Club and BB Couture. Talking about price difference, eh? Combine that with a constant Illamasqua obsession and you got it. I had Zoya and Nubar obsession months ago and although I know they have some kick-ass colours, they basically didn't make it on the list right now. But let's cut it short - I want them ALL.

I tried to make top 10, but failed miserably. I was thinking about top 42, you know, being Adams fan and all ... but that would be too easy. I think. So I made Top 20, it's the first 20 on my WL that is on  the right side of the blog. The big long long list? That's it! Top 20 may change every once in a while.

What's your top *number*? Or at least three, that you're dying to have. Ok, I'm not being fair if I don't write them myself first ... here, top three, if I really must:  BB Couture - Caterpillar,  Color Club - Revvvolution and Essie - Sew Psyched. Today! *phew*

And an old swatch of one of my favourite O.P.I.'s ever, Catherine The Grape, so it won't be just talk.
