Paket Petek (haul post)

You know, as I posted Essence Open Water Dive few hours earlier, I thought to myself: I really must not forget to post my Paket Petek post tomorrow, being Friday and all (Paket Petek means Package Friday). And as I cooked more tea right now, I realised today is Friday. *sigh* To my defence I can write down that it is not one of my best days, I feel rather drowsy and like a cold is waiting to jump on me. I've started with vitamin C and extra sweater today, hope it helps.

Last week I got a package in my mailbox. Yaaay! Me and my swap buddy took a break from swapping during Summer, and I  must say, I was so excited when I saw the package on the table. I was a bit worried that is won't arrive, since the last one got lost/stolen. But there is was and it contained food for two of my obsessions! Nail polish AND eyeshadows! I'm posting it tonight since last Friday I was in Austria, and had no time for scheduled posts. :)

I've already tried all the eye product and they are nothing short of amazing. The pigmentation of WnW eyeshadows is incredible, and the Milani Shadow Eyez in Green Safari has to be my favourite green eye pencil ever. It's gorgeous green, works in tons of looks and stays on lower lash line 10 hours+. Love!
Walking on Eggshells is actually a palette of what I've called 'Why bother' colours before. Now I know the subtle, neutral colours can make so much difference, I'm starting to love them. The package was right on time for my important interview in college, so I opened Walking on Eggshells immediately. And I love it. I also tried both halves of Comfort Zone and it's a sheer perfection, whether you follow the WnW guidelines or use separate eyeshadows in different looks. Amazing, really. They really make me want to try all WnW palettes, I've read so much good about them, but now I also see they're right up there with my best eyeshadows.

The nail polish will be shown in separate posts, of course, but you can see the Sinful Color one on my last picture already. :)

And today I got the second package! Full of China Glaze Capital Colors collection, yay! I'm already wearing Agro (the green one) and it's perfect. I have the best swap buddy in the world, and just in case there is a slim chance you don't know her blog yet: My Lucid Bubble. Go!

And just because I can: my song of this Friday night, one of my favourite bands of all time, Primordial, The Mouth of Judas.

Have a lovely weekend!

Paket petek

Isn't it awesome I can do another Paket petek (Package Friday)?? You know why it's awesome? That's right, because that means Ulmiel got a package full of goodies this week!

The customs sent their love right before I went on my roadtrip. I wasn't very happy about it, since basically, I could have had the package already in my hands, if there wasn't for the customs procedure. Oh well ... they finally sent it right on the day I got back to Slovenia, so when I got home, the package awaited me. Torn, poorly stuck together with a short piece of duct tape and with two (!) polishes completely out of the bubble wrap (you know, so they could easily hit each other and break, why make it hard for them and unwrap only one?)! Not only did they tear it, they took them out and didn't bother at all to wrap them again. Can I mention too that one of these two was one of my biggest lemmings in nail polish ever, Nubar Greener? My wrath disturbed the Force that day, really. Not for long though, I got SO happy about the package, it was pure and utter perfection. I love my swap buddy, seriously, she rocks.

Not one but TWO from *the* Nubar collection for me, Greener and Forest! I honestly couldn't sit anymore when I saw them in the package. The entire package is perfect, but these two really made me go

The gif was probably nicked from the awesome Kaz (Pretty Random). She puts cool stuff like this on the blog, making me laugh like hell.

As for the eyeshadows. I know, I know. I keep telling everyone who is willing to listen I have a strict no-buy in eyeshadow department. And now this. I blame it on Kelly (Vampy Varnish). Who can say no to a product she presents so amazingly in her post? Not me, no sir. And they really are great.

Perfect package, yes. What did you get in your latest package? Do tell, don't be shy!

Thank you for reading!

Finger Paints - Hue Rang?

Evening people! How are you doing? Hope you had a nice Sunday and wonderful weekend. Me ... I had a very hard weekend, speaking emotionally. So my studies are on hold this weekend. I'm just so tired from the shocks and stress. I'll have to be extra good next week! But you don't come here to get troubled with my whining, so lets go to the nail polish!
Maybe you've already noticed, I added another little thingie on Did someone say nail polish? - a lil' window I call 'ATM mani'. I don't know how useful or interesting or fun you find that, but I decided to put it on mainly because I actually feel good if I wear a colour more than once and I realized in the pass few days I'm neglecting some really wonderful colours in my stash and I'd love to wear them more often, yet I do not wish to post same pictures of manicures on my blog. That's why I'll post it on the right side, if you find it interesting enough or find the colour good and wish to read more about it, you can always click on the picture and read about the polish.  :)

But to todays post. Another one from MLB swap, again a polish label I've tried for the first time. Finger Paints (that have a very cute collection coming out, I'd say from the promo pics!), a greyed purple, last picture also with Wet'n'wild Cheers on  my ring finger and a proof of how much did Hue Rang? bubble.

All pictures are natural light, without TC. The first three were taken right after applying the polish so the surface is nice and smooth. The last one was taken the next day, I did a quick shot, because I was curious about Cheers combination. Hue Rang? started bubbling around 15 minutes after applying it and I have no idea why. The amount of bubbling is incredible, seriously hardcore bubbling, you know, not just a bubble here and there. I'm thinking I did the last layer to thick or something? I'll give it another chance some time later, since I really like the colour. It's milka colour, but because of the fine silver shimmer it looks greyed out. Or silvered out? I don't know, either way it looks greyed out to me and I love it. It wasn't hard to apply or anything, I'm putting Finger Paints on my radar as a good brand, if I'll get it to apply without bubbling anyway. Maybe it's just this colour, I don't know. I wish it hasn't bubbled, like I said, I think the colour is lovely.

This was two coats, brush is nice, but the polish is rather thick - that's why I'm thinking my second layer was to thick, hence the bubbling. But suprisingly this one dried extremely fast, like really. After I already thought it's dry, the bubbling started.

What do you think about the colour? How do you cope with bubbles on your polish? Remove it, put TC on it, or ignore it? What do you think about my ATM mani window, yey or ney?
