Eyeko Lilac Polish with SH pink crackle Fuschia Shock

Hey everybody! How are you doing? I hope your week started better than mine. The weekend and the Monday were hell for me. I already calmed down quite a bit, but tell you the truth, it's been years since I broke down so completely, and all of this "just because" of schoolwork. There is still hope, though, and I'm taking it! I don't know about you guys, but my schoolwork is really important to me, that's why I always take everything so dramaticaly.

Today I wanted to show you two manis, but I don't think I'll find the time for both. I picked the one that is less "me". It's a soft purple polish with pink crackle. Yes, on Did Someone Say Nail Polish and on my nails. Things happen. ;) What is more, I absolutely loved the final result.
First, Eyeko Lilac Polish. This one is really soft, really really gentle colour. That's the feature I love about it. I tend to get bored of this kind of colour rather fast so I don't choose it often. But Lilac is fluffy and cozy and I like that. It's quite lovely, just as the label says.

I had the hardest time picking a colour when I wore this baby. I got two major swap packages and a few lemmings killed that week and I was choosing a polish for like half an hour (and no, didn't feel like wearing my old mani anymore). At that point I reached over the 15 bottles standing infront of me and grabbed the Eyeko.

I realized this would be a great base for some nail art. I got out the stamping kit ... and failed miserably. No, seriously. When I fail miserably, I seriously fail miserably. So I redid the nails I stamped and decided I'll go with good ol' scotch tape art. Mhmm ... yeah. Back then I was still in between fast drying TCs and I waited for 10 minutes max before putting a scotch tape on my relatively freshly painted nails. Fail? Indeed it was! I pulled up the polish and had to remove it completely off my ring finger. Of course I messed up a couple more with polish remover and cotton pad. In the end I used up a little under half the bottle of Lilac Polish. I'm not effing kidding. It was disasterous. So, what do you do when everything else fails? That's right. You layer the thing! And I did. I chose the Sally Hansen Fuschia Shock crackle that was sitting on my table and this is what came out.

Again, I loved the way it cracked better on my right hand. That always happens, I have no idea why. Anyway. I love the combination! It goes from gentle and cozy to girl-ishy funky. It's also something completely different for my nails and sometimes it just feels refreshing to look at my nails and say "oh, look, that's something out of the ordinary and still cool". I think I actually wore this for two or three days, which is like a millenia for me.

Eyeko Lilac Polish needed two coats on my shorter nails. The brush isn't my favourite, it's a bit wonky, but polish dries fast and glossy. Sally Hansen F.S. behaved nicely, better than her blue brother. I wasn't sure how I'll like the pink crackle, but I really do. Just as the white crackle isn't me and I love it, the pink one isn't me and I love it.

That's it. Hope I didn't bore you too much. What do you think of them both? Did you get the Lilac polish from Eyeko sale? Sick of crackles much?

Thank you for reading!

Brucci - Blue Sapphire (with Nfu Oh magic)

Hey everyone! How have you been? I know, it's been a while. Basically I'm only posting lately on the days I have my exams or am too tired for studying. I'm afraid it's going to be like this until October. It sucks, because I miss blogging so so much. And the nail polish blogsphere. I try to read as many blogs I can, but frankly, there isn't much time for internet lately. Today I had I really important exam and I don't have a very good feeling about it. I hope it's just nerves. The traditional after-exam headache is here too, but I'm getting used to it by now.
Right now I want to show you what's probably the best dark blue shimmer I have. It's a stunner. I have it on my nails right now and I love it. My swap buddy rocks for sending me this one. Today I put some Nfu Oh flakies on, just to spice it up a bit, but to tell you the truth, I almost regret it. Not because I wouldn't love flakies, because you know I do, it's just that Blue Sapphire is utterly gorgeous on its own.

Natural light, but grey and cloudy.

What impressed me greatly with Blue Sapphire (aside from its GORGEOUS colour) is the pigmentation. You know by now my nails are fairly wide. At this point also quite long. Not the longest I ever showed, but they're getting there. So in average I need one coat more than most bloggers that show the same colour. Well, people, this is one coat of Blue Sapphire:

If I can make this a one coater, everyone that has nails shorter than 5 inches can. I was amazed. I did two coats just because I can and because I wanted to see how much depht the colour gets with the extra coat. But this is officially my go-to colour. It's gorgeous, one coat and we're off. I love it.

The brush is awesome, I have no troubles with Brucci, so is the formula. I put once coat of SH Insta Dry on top and that was it. The colour reminded me of Illamasqua Phallic, Blue Sapphire feels like a bluer or less blackened sister. For those of you who were disappointed in how blackened Phallic is, this just might be it. I love them both, naturally. ;) Holy crap, I haven't shown you Phallic yet! Must fix that.

Today I added Nfu Oh 52 on top, since it was too gorgeous base not to use it. I haven't worn flakies in a while, so I said why not.

What do you think about Blue Sapphire? How are you with blue shimmers? Can't get enough of them or need a break from them? I personally think you need Blue Sapphire in your life if you're a blue shimmer fan. This is really gorgeous.

Thank you for reading! Miss ya!

3 green Zoya beauties: Ivanka, Shawn and Gemma

Hey guys. How are you doing today? It's not my usual time of posting, I know, but I just got home and I feel like sh*t and since blogging usually helps loads, I decided to do a post. If my language will be a bit ... juicy in this one and you mind or find it offenisve, please don't, it's not pointed in any direction, just me venting. Oh, and btw, I curse a lot IRL, so yeah. Anyway. I found out this morning about two months of hard work went down the drain, so I feel pretty much like someone ran me over. You know what helps in these kind of situations? Nail polish. The second I walked into my room and glanced at the polish shelves, Gemma felt like a soft fluffy pillow or a comfort sweater you put on when feeling bad and only want to stuff your face with chocolate and watch sitcom series.

So I decided to show you the tree Zoyas that have been rocking my world ever since Kris (My Lucid Bubble) so kindly sent them to me. I'm so lame that I forgot to took a picture of two or three swap packages we excanged, so I'll point out the swap polish when I post about it, ok? Sorry, dear, I hope you don't mind. Fact remains, she rocks. And I mean *Queen* kinda rocks! Btw, it's Freddie's bday today. Happy bday, wherever you are. :*

Shitload of pictures because they are gorgeous and deserve it. I rest my case with that argument.

Ivanka was one of my biggest lemmings of all time. You can imagine my joy when I unwrapped this beauty. Cannot get sick of this finish or the colour. Three perfect coats, no complaints, superb Zoya formula.

Ah, Shawn. I had no idea I'll love this one so much. It's such a rich green, so deep and ... I don't know. Not to dark, not to bright. I think peaceful is the word I'm looking for, although it feels sexy too and those two don't go together in my dictionary. I love the feeling of thickness too on this one. Last picture is a bit different than usually, since I love the green background. Two perfect coats, this one also dries extremly glossy.

Gemma. The soft pillow. :) These are pictures made 20 minutes ago, actually. I had two sets from before (yes, I wear Gemma quite a lot), but todays turned out best. I love the uniqueness of the shade with the shimmer (it seems only blue on the pictures, but if you look closely there is a party of colours going on there), I love the softness of the olive base colour. Gorgeous, really. Three coats, also not the Zoya formula I'm used to, but still a good formula all in all.

Zoya isn't famous for her brush, formula and colours for nothing. These are superb. Gemma seems a bit tricky only because I expect the perfection of Zoya with her too, it's not like it's a bad formula. I'm loving Zoya, I really am. When I look at this years collections Zoya comes to mind as number one.

I feel better already. :) All the greens! GREENS!! I love green. Can you tell?

Thank you for reading, darlings, sorry if I come off bitchy today, I won't do that often, I promise. Have a great week!

Vipera Jumpy: 120, 145, 173

Hey guys!! How are you doing? I dropped in to say 'hello', I miss blogging so much! I had two exams today and I'm so tired studying is definitively off, so why not write a post? In a very new blogger, I might add. I'm still getting used to the whole deal. I also switched to Google Chrome, because Mozilla went all funny on me. I'm getting used to that one too, but I'm starting to like it. Anyway. I wanted to show you this for a long long time! It's a swap I did with Sabbatha from Spooky Nails quite a while ago, because I wanted to try out some of the really awesome colours she's displaying on her blog and are Polish. You know, made in Poland. ;) The more I saw, the more impressed I got and then swap just had to happen. The one brand I really fell in love with is Vipera Jumpy. Yes, because of the small, chubby bottles. So cute!! So naturally I had to try them first. Now I'll show you the first three I tried, but at this point a tried a lot of them, and honestly, Poland knows what they're doing with polish!! The colours, the brushes, the formula!! Awesome! Sabbatha, thank you so so much, the package is beyond awesome!

First is the 120. Gorgeous green. What did you expect, a yellow one? It's me, for Pete's sake. :P

The pictures are not my best, I was up north, far away from my lightbox and usual lighting when I took them. Still, I think you can see how beautiful 120 really is. Gorgeous green. As Sabbatha mentioned on her blog, it's quite similar to Orly Meet Me Under The Mistletoe, but not the same. I'm itching to do a comparison, when I'll have the time. I think this was three coats. I forgot to write it down, lame. :(

Then we have the faaantastic duochrome, meet 145.

If you're asking yourself why three pictures, you're a duochrome hater. Isn't this fantastic? *dreamy sigh* I love it so so much!! Strong duochrome, just a little bit brush-stroky, but nothing major, very nicely behaved, it's just a bliss to work with it. Three coats.

And then the elegant 173:

It's a soft, dusty purple with subtle pink shimmer, that gives it depht and is visible even in soft light. But still subtle, you have to look for it. Doesn't matter, when I wore this baby I was just in the mood for something that soft on my nails. Beautiful, really. Again three coats. It dries so glossy on its own it's impossible to get a picture without any reflect. You should see my outside pictures.
Next day I helped the pink shimmer a bit with CND Amethyst Sparkle effect.

These beauties all have a few things in common. They have great brush, they have amazing formula, they dry really fast, they are really small and really cheap. It's a win win situation for nail polish junkie, if you ask me. And I adore the colours, adore them!! There is more to come. Vipera Jumpy impressed me so much. They are so much more than what I expected. Crazy!

A quick shot of all the goodies that arrived from Poland. I almost forgot I have these pictures.
 Group picture.
Second row.

That's it from me. What do you think about Jumpys? Do you have any? :)

Thank you for reading & hope I'll get the chance to drop in a few times more before my study period ends!
