Nfu Oh 49 (over O.P.I. DS Tapestery + accent mani)

Hey guys! I have no idea how to form a title for this one, as I do have layering with Nfu Oh, accent mani and then also black crackle over one nail. :) So it's a lot of variation. I saw new promo pics on nail blogsphere today of new Zoya collections. Have you seen it? Doesn't it look awesome? Mattes and the two summer collections. I really love Zoyas uniqueness when it comes to their colours, they refuse to follow other brands. They look pretty awesome. I totally want green and blue matte! Which reminds me I still need to get red, black, silver and purple one. Lol. Wow! Good luck with that, eh? Maybe I'll do major matte haul when the new ones come out. U, also promo pics from Orly look good! Pin Up and Happy Go Lucky are the collections, I think. I like the green and purple glitter most, we'll see how the swatches will turn out. :) But to todays mani!

 Up and below I did quick shots of combination with p2 black crackle, just to see how it works out. And I really love it! I'll probably do a full one like this soon. Mind you, this was taken after 4 days of wearing! I'm noticing tip wear is down to a minimum with Nfu Oh base coat, usually I had this kind of tip wear after a day or two.

Ok, so, this was 1 coat of Nfu Oh Base Coat, 2 coats of O.P.I. DS Tapestery, one coat of Nfu Oh 49 and then SV. On my ring finger insted of Tapestery BeYu 306.

When I first applied it, I thought I made a mistake, as 49 and Tapestery are pretty close. But I really started to love it after a while. I wore it for 5 days, so yeah, you could say I pretty much loved the combination. :) It looks awesome on direct sunlight, since Tapestery is a holo varnish, and flakies really explode on the sunlight. I think all in all it's a good combination, I loved it especially as a base for crackle. But the one I really must do as a full mani is with BeYu 306 or any other kind of dark red. Flakies really come alive on dark base. 

I think that's just a bout it. Any other questions? And ideas for a combination? Thoughts on new Zoya and Orly collections? :)

Nfu Oh 56 (over BB Couture Clyde)

Hello again darlings! It's a beautiful day here in Ljubljana, although the wind is blowing like it's getting paid for it. I simply have to show you the mani I did yesterday and that I find just so perfect I could cry every time I look at my nails. It's so gorgeous, I don't think I'll take it off at all. Well,  i probably will, but I can see myself polishing my nails with this combination more often than I did with Rampage. This post is a bit picture heavy, I also posted two (!) videos of this baby ... I cannot express my love for this mani. I took almost 60 pictures of it and 5 videos and it was painful to reduce it do this many pictures. I can't stop looking at my nails, I couldn't even walking to the bus station today, people in the cars probably thought I'm drunk or something ... it's poetry on my nails. I also did my new profile picture (that I wanted to do for months now) with it and my bday flowers. Pictures and videos!

And this is now my new profile picture. The red one was long overdue to changes, as I'm now big on green for months. It also carries all the things that I love in it - flowers (I crave spring, you hear me, crave it!!), a nail polish one of you darlings suprised me with (dear Stefanie with BB Couture) and Nfu Oh that my love gave to me, thus creating a perfect green polish. :)

I did two videos, one with macro function on and one with off. Yes, I know how to enable it, I just usually don't, because then the glitter effect is more visible. But with Nfu Oh 56 the incredible sparkle and shine gets through even in sharp shot. Too gorgeous!!

Here it is. The love of my nail polish life. I don't think I'll babble much anymore, because all I can express is awe and love and my admiration, and frankly, I did that before I posted the pictures. By the number of them and videos you can also get it how much I love this combination, not to mention I made it into my profile picture. In short, too gorgeous. Too perfect. I couldn't wait until I showed all the others I have in line for blog, I just had to show you this one first. Isn't it perfect? Seriously!

Oh, yes, maybe you're interested in the details: 1 coat of Nfu Oh Base Coat, 2 coats of BB Couture Clyde, 2 coats of Nfu Oh 56 and 1 coat of Seche Vite. All of these have perfect brush (Base Coat is SO perfect to apply it's almost funny), I had no troubles with any of them, I'm majorly, majorly impressed by Nfu Oh brush, seriously ... yes, SV is still being a bitch, but what can we do? I was in a hurry and couldn't use the Nfu Oh not-a-fast-drying-TC one. 

Nfu Oh 56 is perfect. Pure perfection. Thank you, dearest, for the perfect present. :** Over a really perfect green like BB Couture Clyde it makes me all giddy.

China Glaze - C-c-courage

Hey darlings! How are you doing? Today I have for you another one from the swap with Kris, another China Glaze, and of course an awesome colour. But before we get to the varnish, I'd like to point out a blog that is beyond awesome and also very very useful. It's call Beauty and the Bullshit and the author, Rowena, is someone who used to work in the source, people! She knows the dirty secrets of cosmetics companies and is willing to share! But not only that, she wraps the info that she gives to us into blunt, straightforward, full of sharp sarcastic tones posts that make me laugh out loud or at least put me in a hell of a good mood. I really recommend reading it, not only it's fun but you also learn a lot about the way they make you shop for products and which lies to avoid! Few days ago she did an incredibly infomative post about Eye pencils that I want to give her an award for, I'm a huge fan of Eye pencils, thus this was an eye opener. Awesome!

But to the China Glaze!

I'm sure you all know this one. C-c-courage is a part of Wizard of Ohh Ahz Collection for Holidays 2009, the collection that held Ruby Pumps (although it's been out before), and Dorothy Who?, one of the most gorgeous blues out there. And C-c-courage, of course! A very nice medium purple with silver and purple specks of micro glitter, a very gorgeous colour! 

C-c-courage needs two coats to be opaque and I regret not putting 2 coats of TC on too, as with only one it's still kinda rough. Glitter, what can you do. It's really easy to work with, and very very lovely. I'm kinda over my purple obsession and am kinda sick of dark purples, this one, being bright, really suited my mood. I apologize for not so perfect pictures, the weather wasn't good at all when I first shot this one, lightbox made the polish look too blue and when I did the video I already had to run to catch my bus for classes. But still, I'm sure you already saw this one before and I'm sure you all know how awesome it is!
